The Ministry of Health recommended this Friday (15) the vaccination against Covid-19 of children aged 3 to 5 years with Coronavac. The folder guided states and municipalities to use the doses in stock and said it is negotiating the purchase of more units.
“In view of the decision of the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) and, after hearing the Technical Advisory Chamber on Immunization of Covid-19 (CTAI), the Ministry of Health advises federative entities to expand the use of the Covid-19 vaccine. /Coronavac for the age group of 3 to 5 years old,” he said in a statement.
“The ministry recommends using existing stocks in the states and municipalities. However, the Ministry of Health continues to negotiate for the acquisition of new doses. The decision will be formalized in a technical note to the states, as well as the delivery schedule of additional doses .”
