The Ministry of Health reported on Wednesday (15) through a note that has been circulating a fake email assigned to the folder with a link to download digital vaccination certificates.
The folder said it does not send this type of proof by email and that the national vaccination certificate is only made available by the Ministry of Health through the Connect SUS application.
Last Friday (10), the ministry suffered a hacker attack and part of its systems was unavailable.
While trying to access the website, users encountered a message stating that the system data had been copied and deleted and was in the hands of the attacking group. Minutes later, the message disappeared, but the site remained down.
This Thursday (16), the Connect SUS system reaches the seventh day without issuing proof of vaccination against Covid.
Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga said that the ministry is working to restore the system as “as soon as possible”.
In addition to issuing vaccination certificates, Conecta SUS gathers information on the clinical history of patients, medicines dispensed and exams carried out. These features also did not work again.
The Federal Police opened an inquiry to investigate the attack and assess the extent of the invasion carried out against different sectors of the federal government.
