The governor of São Paulo, Rodrigo Garcia (PSDB), and the secretary of Science, Research and Development in Health of the state, David Uip, received guests such as the director of the Faculty of Medicine at USP, Eloisa Bonfá, and the president of the Institute of Technological Research, Liedi Bernucci, for the pre-launch of the documentary “Us Against the Virus”.
Held at the Palácio dos Bandeirantes, in the capital of São Paulo, on Thursday (15), the event was also attended by the Secretary of Health of São Paulo, Jean Gorinchteyn, the Rector of USP, Carlos Gilberto Carlotti Jr., the Director- Butantan Foundation executive, Dimas Covas, and businesswoman Lilia Klabin.
The work “Nos Contra o Vírus” is directed by Marcelo Poli and tells how the Contingency Center of São Paulo faced the Covid-19 pandemic – the state was the first in the country to apply a dose of the vaccine against the virus.
