The president of EINAP, Matina Pagonis, spoke to ERT on New Year’s Eve today about the issue of viruses and the outbreak of the coronavirus in China.
“But what we have to pay attention to is that since the beginning of November, which we didn’t expect, too many viruses have started. These are viruses that we were expecting after November 20th. Is influenza, is the respiratory syncytial virus especially for the little children you all saw what happened in Children’s all over Greece, on Christmas days the little kids were in the hospitals, panicked parents. It was also streptococcus which had strengthened them all through history and that’s why it needs attention” said Mrs. Pagoni and added that the next two months are the months we will have a flu outbreak and that those who have not been vaccinated against the H1N1 flu should do so.
“In order not to suffer, these days we will be careful, we will have fun, we will go out, but wherever necessary we will wear the mask, we do not forget it because here is the Covid disease, here are the subvariants, here are the flus, here are the viruses and in addition the antiseptics that we forgot these too, we must have them with us and at the revivals we don’t need to hug and kiss[…] kisses in the air” he noted, among other things, and pointed out that before attending any revue, a test should be done.
“These days one has a little time, one does not have to go to the houses, nor to go out and see. Let him sit at home to spend these four to five days and then go out,” said the president of EINAP.
