Majorkinis: I see no danger from the situation with the coronavirus in China

The assessment that there is no particular danger from the situation in China with the coronavirus, the professor of epidemiology and member of the Committee of Experts of the Ministry of Health expressed, Gikas Mallorcaspeaking to First Program.

I don’t see any particular danger from the situation in China, for us at this stage”, said Mr Majorkinis.

“The new strain from America has a slight advantage”

Referring to the new strain of coronavirus from North America, XBB15, Mr. Majorkinis said that it has a potential but a small one. “This is a strain which is the mixing of two O2 strains.
