Brazil recorded 27 deaths from Covid-19 and 4,984 cases of the disease this Sunday (26). With that, the country reached 618,484 lost lives and 22,236,892 positive tests for the Sars-CoV-2 virus since the beginning of the pandemic.
Moving averages of deaths and cases continue to fall. The average number of deaths, 92 per day, completed the eleventh day below 150.

The average of deaths registered this Sunday is the lowest of the year, however, in the middle of the holiday, many states have not updated the number of infected by Covid-19 nor the number of deaths.
The country’s data, collected up to 8 pm, are the result of collaboration between Folha, UOL, O Estado de S. Paulo, Extra, O Globo and G1 to gather and disseminate the numbers related to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
The information is collected daily by the consortium of press vehicles with the state Health Departments.
Data on vaccination against Covid-19 are among those affected, in several states, by the attack on the ministry’s website.
In all, 160,952,162 people received at least the first dose of a vaccine against Covid in Brazil. There are already 137,938.036 people with two doses or one dose of Janssen’s vaccine.​
