Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein recorded this Wednesday (12) a 121.9% increase in the number of patients who needed to be hospitalized because of Covid-19. Cases jumped from 41 last week to 91.

At Einstein’s emergency room, the arrival of people with respiratory symptoms shows no sign of falling. Between last Sunday (9) and the morning of this Wednesday (12) 2,404 attendances of this type were carried out, corresponding to 51% of the total recorded throughout the previous week.

The Beneficência Portuguesa Hospital of São Paulo, another private institution of reference in the capital of São Paulo, says that care for cases of Covid-19 increased by 31% between January 5 and Tuesday (11). Only 2.3% were converted into hospitalizations at the institution.

Influenza care, in turn, fell by 39% in the same period, with 10% of the patients treated being hospitalized.

The singers Illy and Marina Sena will release this Friday (14) the single “Quente e Colorful”. The track will also receive a music video shot in Bahia and directed by Dauto Galli. The song is part of Illy’s third studio album, “O Que Me Cabe”, scheduled for release in February.
