February 4 has been established as World Cancer Awareness Day to inspire progress in treatment and increase survival from the disease. As the Medical School of EKPA emphasizes, this day acquires special importance during the era of the COVID-19 pandemic to remind us that prevention and early diagnosis save lives.
The theme of World Cancer Day 2022 focuses on identifying and recognizing global inequalities in cancer care entitled “Close the Care Gap”.
