The signing of the contract for the energy upgrade and renovation of the Alexandra Health Center, of the 1st Health Region of Attica, was attended today the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis and the Deputy Minister of Health Irini Agapidakis.

The contract is worth 5,588,368.96 euros, with a duration of 14 months.

The process was carried out under the supervision of TAIPED, which was represented by the mandated consultant Panagiotis Stamboulidis, who informed the minister in detail about the implementation of the RRF program in Health infrastructure.

The contract was signed by the commander of the 1st Ministry of Health of Attica Panagiotis Stathis and the representative of the contracting company K/X Tropi SA – Talos ATE Aristidis Kourtidis.

After signing the contract, Adonis Georgiadis pointed out: “It is amazing that on my first day at the Ministry of Health, the first signature that comes in is the renovation of a Health Center that I have seen many times in the past and I must admit that despite the amazing work the staff are doing, its infrastructure was really very outdated. . In the next few days we will go with Irini Agapidaki to the Health Center to show it and we will go after a year to show it again so that the people understand what we receive and what we deliver, because this is ultimately what counts in politics. Congratulations».

For her part, Irini Agapidaki stated that the project is very important for two reasons.

“On the one hand, because we are talking about one of the most important Primary Health Care structures in Attica. On the other hand, because the Alexandra Health Center will become a university health center, it will be connected to the Athens Medical School and will be one of the focal points that we will have throughout the country in order to move to the new version of Primary Health Care, as we have pointed out recently in the Council of Ministers».

As the commander of the 1st Health Region of Attica, Panagiotis Stathis, said, “the contract concerns the energy upgrade and renovation of the Alexandra Health Center unit and is part of the RRF program. In this, at the initiative of the ministry, the actions of the minister and the deputy minister, another 10 health centers have joined and we have additionally submitted a proposal for the next 10. The total budget is around 42 million euros and the budget for the Health Center Alexandras amounts to 5,888,000 euros».
