Atila Iamarino’s data is replaced by offenses in the Ministry of Health app

The scientific promoter Atila Iamarino had his personal data changed in the vaccination certificate registered in the ConectSUS account, an application administered by the Ministry of Health.

Other users have also reported that their platform accounts display logs of exams they have not taken.

In the case of Atila, who is also a columnist for the sheet, attackers exchanged their data for personal offenses and racist content.

In a post on his Twitter profile, he says they’ve changed his name, nationality and his mother’s name. “How do I feel with my data in the hands of whoever did this? With my son’s data there?”, he wrote.

”We are living in a very delicate period, especially for those who are talking about Covid. Professionals from Anvisa were threatened with death because of the approval of vaccines. We have Fiocruz employees with an escort until today for threats, for showing, for example, that chloroquine it doesn’t work. In current periods that sounds very serious to me,” Atila told sheet.

The scientific promoter claims that he has already contacted the Ministry of Health and asked for the correction of the data, as well as clarification on the attack. The request made to the folder involves identifying the changed information, how the modification happened and who has access to the records.

Based on the answers to these questions, Atila intends to call the National Data Protection Authority to demand the protection of personal information based on the LGPD (General Data Protection Law).

“The biggest holder of information about me in Brazil is the Brazilian government. And at least as far as I know, some of the most sensitive information I have is health information. How can we feel comfortable participating in the SUS with the exposed data there?” he says.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health declares that the changes to the platform have already been identified and were not made by a server in the folder, but by an accredited operator who has already had his access to the system blocked.

ConectSUS is an application that records the entire trajectory of SUS (Unified Health System) users. It presents data on assistance, procedures performed and allows access to the National Digital Vaccination Card.

In addition to Atila, YouTubers Felipe Castanhari and Nyvi Estephan also had their personal data changed on the platform in mid-October. Castanhari reported on social networks that they changed his name to offensive words on the vaccination certificate.

Users also reported on Twitter that there were procedures they did not perform registered in their app accounts.

In response to Atila’s tweet, user Fernando Campos stated that his record included the withdrawal of medicines in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, at a time when he was not in the country.

Another user, Claudia Franca, showed a screen capture that shows the record of an exam for the detection of coronaviruses carried out in Duque de Caxias, in Rio de Janeiro, which was not carried out by her. Franca claims that he has never been to the city.

Priscilla Lima, on the other hand, presented another screenshot with a list of at least four types of medication, removed at least eight times in 2017, that were not used by her.

There are also other cases of attacks involving SUS registration, such as that of former federal deputy Manuela d’Ávila (PCdoB-RS), federal deputy Gleisi Hoffmann (PT) and youtuber Felipe Neto, who had their death registered in the system .

The Ministry of Health’s guidance for everyone who had problems with the information entered in ConectSUS is to look for the folder’s ombudsman, through number 136. “The MS clarifies that it is working to restore records and block operators responsible for undue changes” , declares, in a note.
