With the upgraded version of the “Myhealth” application, citizens and doctors will be able to have immediate access to referrals, diagnoses, chronic diseases, medicines, exams and other health data.

As the Deputy Minister of Health noted, the citizens will no longer need to be certified for the certification of the disability, as everything will be certified through the new electronic application.

This system will be completed at the end of the year, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor. “This will completely change the landscape in the Health Committees and improve the processes that suffer people with disabilities,” Ms. Agapidakis said.

The National Electronic Health File will derive data from patients from individual sources of health system (EOPYY, PFI, electronic prescription, hospitals, diagnostic centers, private doctors, private health units, central medical examinations, central examinations).

The Minister of Health stressed that the application would be fully operational, not just pilot, since the beginning of 2026, within the timetable required to fund the recovery fund.

He added that complete data digitization will reduce corruption, but would mainly reduce patients’ discomfort.
