And to whom it hasn’t happened. We all have these days that all you want is to go home and disappear from the world. Don’t talk to a human, don’t have to do anything, relax and forget.

Days that you were most pressed, you may have faced something more difficult or unpleasant. And we will not sell you wisdom and complex techniques. You don’t have to meditate like a guru or run 10 kilometers to relax. There are simpler ways to decompress and feel better without much effort.

1. Put music and do ‘whatever it is’

You don’t need a playlist for deep meditation. Put your favorite songs (whatever they are, even some you may have as a guilty pleasure. You may be laughing at Baby Shark … we don’t judge) and move as it comes out. Dancing, songwriting song, do what comes out of you. You will immediately feel lighter.

2. Take a shower without rush

Not from these hasty. Take your time, put the water running as hot as you can withstand and let the stress leave with water. Bonus points if you use a shower gel that smells of summer or vacation.

3. See something that does not require complex thinking and reflection

I forgot serious dramas and thrillers. Find a light series or a stupid. Something that doesn’t make you think, reflect or have anxiety about what will happen in the next episode.

4. Eat something that makes you happy

It doesn’t have to be a perfect meal. It can be a toast, a piece of chocolate or whatever makes you smile. Small delights = big difference in mood.

5. Close a little bit of the mobile

Even for half an hour. Lie on the couch, look at the ceiling or window, let your mind make a reset. No notifications, no newsfeeds, no pressure to answer anyone.

At the end of the day, the most important thing is to remember that you do not need to “correct” everything right away. Sometimes, all you have to do is breathe, relax and give yourself some space.
