CNN notes that pregnant women and children with underlying diseases are at greater risk of severe disease than COVID-19.
The change of recommendation comes among other changes to Covid-19 vaccines. The FDA said last week that it is reviewing the way it approves COVID-19 vaccines, a move that can limit future vaccines to elderly Americans and people with a higher risk of serious disease than COVID-19.
