The HYGEIA IVF Embryogenic Unit has announced the position of the president’s position by the Obstetrician – Gynecologist, Dr. Vasilis Kellaris.
Dr. Kellaris has years of experience and specialization in the area of assisted reproduction. He has been trained and worked in leading assisted reproduction centers in Greece and abroad, and is widely recognized for his scientific approach, his dedication to infertile couples and his constant commitment to innovation and the progress in the field of reproductive medicine.
He is also a founding member and scientific associate of recognized medical groups, has substantially contributed to the promotion of modern approaches in the field of assisted reproduction, offering high success rates and personalized care to each couple.
Dr. Vassilios Kellaris, is also a co-founder of the non-profit Be-Live Association, who has been distinguished as one of the most active agencies in dealing with the demographic problem in Greece. It promotes policies to reduce the cost of IVF but also to properly information about fertility. At the same time, through many actions it supports vulnerable couples in acute areas especially in remote areas such as Kastelorizo, Lake Evia and Leros – with informative seminars and free IVF.

The biography of Dr. Claus Kellari
Dr. Vassilios Kellaris is a Doctor of Medical School of the NCSR and holds a master’s degree in high -risk pregnancy pathology. At the same time, he holds a specialization in the administration and organization of the Health Units of the Open University of Athens, the A.LSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) and the Certificate of Specialized Training Certificate in “HUMAN REPORT”.
He has been trained in infertility and assisted reproduction methods at UZ Brussel University Hospital, and is a certified ultrasound and holder of the “Focus on Gynecology” diploma, as well as the ISGE (International Society of Gynecological Endocrinology) certification.
He is Vice President of MITERA Hospital and an active member of EEAI. (Hellenic Company of Reproductive Medicine) and the Hellenic Assisted Reproduction Physician (Hellenic). He is a scientific associate at the Assisted Breeding Center of MITERA Hospital and the Gynecological Clinic “GENERAL GENERATION OF ATHENS”, while participating in the KEK Coordinating Committee for Human Reproduction.
