By decision of the Commander of the Sarantos Efstathopoulos Hospital and in collaboration with its staff, this initiative is part of a series of pilot measures, which aims to significantly reduce the overall waiting time of patients, from the time they enter the hospital until they receive them.
On the occasion of the increase in the power of the non -Metaxas Hospital, the Commander of the Sarantos Hospital Efstathopoulos stated through his posting on social networks:
“It dawned on another important day for Metaxas Hospital, as after decades, the dynamics of the daily hospital unit where our oncology patients are treated daily, increased by 6 beds! That is, out of 37, we now have 43!
The aim is to further reduce the waiting time of patients, which has a direct impact on improving their quality of life.
Along with other initiatives we have taken for several months, but also the help of technology, I am convinced that we will be at a much better level in a while.
At the heart of our oncological patient is always focused and all decisions are made for their own service. “
