The new laboratories confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 8,635. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,173,630 (daily change + 0.3%), of which 49.0% are men.

They were made 151,353 tests and the positivity formed in 5.71%.

The number of possible new re-infections recorded in the last 24 hours were 118 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 118,885 (3.6% of the total number of positive results).

Tested samples: From January 1, 2020 until today, in the laboratories that perform tests for the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and that systematically state all the samples they test, a total of 10,746,257 clinical samples have been tested while from Health Units and Scales of EODY performing Rapid Ag tests have tested 65,768,842 samples. The seven-day average is 237,280 sample checks.

Self-tests: As of April 9, 2022, 104,141,319 statements of self-diagnostic result have been recorded electronically, while 6,306,474 people came for re-examination.

Bulk Sampling EODY: On April 9, 2022, 43 sampling actions were carried out by the Mobile Health Teams (KOMY) of EODY, in which 8,068 Rapid Ag tests were performed and 1,052 positive (13.04%) were found.
