After Britain, the unknown type of hepatitis in children in the US and Spain

The growing scientific trend and the spread of an unknown type of hepatitis in children under 10 years of age has caused great concern in the international scientific community.

After Britain and Scotlandwhere several children were treated with symptoms of hepatitis, but which did not coincide with any of the known types, similar cases in children were reported in Alabama in the United States, but also in Spain.

More specifically, according to the US CDCat least nine cases of children under the age of six, showed jaundice in their liver and other symptoms of hepatitis from October, while one suffered a rupture. Another child showed similar symptoms in another US state, which, however, is not named.

Before the diagnosis of the unknown type of hepatitis, at least 80 children in Britain and Spain they had been hospitalized and given special treatment.

In the tests that were performed, none of the children who were treated were positive in the known types of hepatitis, a fact that was pointed out as a special object of research by the scientists.

According to an initial estimate, scientists speculate that the unknown type of hepatitis came from an adenoviruswho had not previously occupied the scientific community.
