Coren-SP (São Paulo Regional Nursing Council) will deliver to federal deputies this Tuesday (19) a copy of an online petition in favor of the bill that establishes a national salary floor for workers in the sector.
The petition has more than 180,000 signatures. The bill passed the Senate and will now be debated in the House.
As the column showed, a study carried out by Coren-SP showed that more than half (62.1%) of nursing professionals in the state say they have had work-related mental suffering since the beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Of this total, 70.2% say they have physical symptoms, such as weakness, dizziness and exhaustion, and 64.5% cite emotional symptoms, such as fear and panic.
