As the temperature rises this week, we’re all looking for ways to cool down.
And ice cream is the perfect solution to get it on hot summer days.
However, it is not only people who enjoy a first or two, but also four-legged friends.
To meet the needs of dogs, Aldi has launched a unique dog ice cream with two different flavors.
Aldi was the first British supermarket to launch ice cream for dogs, and its offer is 100% herbal.
The new Beach Dean Doggie Ice Cream will be available in 4 packs (110ml each) starting June 16 at 992.99 at the Country Store.
Owners can choose between different types of peas and vanilla, or apples and carrots. The ice cream is made from real fruits and vegetables.
It is nutritious and delicious.
To celebrate the new launch, Aldi has partnered with local ice cream vendors across the country to source frozen puppies.
Dogs can catch dogs this weekend in ice cream vans in Brighton, Essex and Scotland.
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Procurement at Aldi UK, said:
“Become the first supermarket in the UK to make dog-friendly ice cream. We’re looking forward to the good weather, so it’s summer.”
It is undeniable that this new summer dish will shake some tails.
