“Sleepy Eyes” makeup tricks for a radiant eyeliner at any time

The classic cat flick is probably the eyeliner style you’re most familiar with, but is it the most flattering?

Beauty influencers on TikTok and Instagram share how to do the latest eyeliner trick called “sleepy eyes.”

This goes against what is always said about wearing eyeliner, which can open up the eyes and make the wearer look more attentive.

Instead, this style of eyeliner is all about lining the inside of your eyes, giving off a sexy, sultry look that looks a little “sleepy.”

The technique is different than normal eyeliner, but it’s also very easy.

It is told by makeup artist Levi-Jade Taylor.

While a typical winged liner draws the eye upward, the Sleepy liner starts at the lower lash line and continues to the temple.

For easy application, start by lining the lower lid line (with eyeliner or eyeshadow). This makes it easier to draw the corners of the liner from above.

“Aim for a straight line to your temples, not wings that go all the way to your eyebrows.”

Levi-Jade recommends using a pencil eyeliner on stained areas, as any slight misalignment will be easier to blend and correct.

However, you can use any form of eyeliner for your face: gel, pencil, or liquid.

She added: “The liner is thin along the lash line, so you can rock this look with any eye shape.

“The angle of the wings creates a more almond-shaped eye look that is both flattering and effortlessly alluring.”

Influencers have demoed the look online, showing how stunning this low-key eyeliner look is.
