(News Bulletin 247) – Schneider Electric is today launching a call to accelerate actions in line with the goal of net zero emissions, thanks to private-public collaboration.
The Group’s call to action comes ahead of the COP27 (United Nations Climate Change Conference), which will be held from November 6 to 18 in Egypt and which will be attended by several Schneider Electric senior executives.
‘What we need is faster action, on all fronts and at all levels of business, government and society; a systemic and collaborative approach that encompasses both comprehensive global initiatives and local actions on the
field’, emphasizes Gwenaëlle Avice-Huet, Managing Director of Strategy and Sustainable Development at Schneider Electric.
At COP27, Schneider Electric leaders will participate in a series of roundtables and meet with decision-makers from business, government and civil society, to advise them on the sometimes still undervalued solutions and approaches that can help put in place urgent measures to reduce carbon emissions.
