(News Bulletin 247) – The News Bulletin 247 team with TradingSat offers a thematic investment, on a tracker-type vehicle (ETF) on “low carbon”. The proposed product replicates a Low Carbon 100 Europe® PAB index, administered by Euronext, aligned with the objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement. It reflects, upwards and downwards, the performance of 100 European companies selected according to a “best-in-class” approach consisting in retaining the best performers within each sector of activity in terms of CO2 emissions. Among these, 10 to 15 stocks are specially chosen for their positive contribution to the energy transition, not only through their carbon performance, but also through the positive impact of their products or services on the climate. The issuer, BNP AM, was a pioneer on the theme by marketing the product in 2008.

KEY GRAPHIC ELEMENTS

The graphical analysis in daily data of the EASYETF LOWCARBON tracker makes it possible to identify an upward trend in the short term as well as in the medium term. Among the dominant chart factors, we noted the presence of a bullish channel on the prices of the EASYETF LOWCARBON tracker. We have represented in black this ascending corridor which guides the prices. In terms of trend indicators, the 50-day moving average (in orange), in the immediate vicinity of the lower limit of the channel, acts as support for the courses.
