(News Bulletin 247) – Stellantis announces today that following agreements concluded during the first half of 2022, Leasys and Free2move Lease, two leasing companies, will consolidate their activities to create a new mobility company specializing in the multi-brand operational leasing, in which Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance will each hold 50% of the capital.
Operational from the closing date scheduled for the first half of 2023, the NewCo will be chaired by Richard Bouligny. Rolando D’Arco will take over as Managing Director, with Arnaud de Lamothe, Deputy Managing Director in charge of Trade, and Antoine Delautre, Deputy Managing Director in charge of Finance.
This new mobility player will be established in 11 countries, will serve the Stellantis brands and will also benefit from a multi-brand approach.
Together, Leasys and Free2move Lease represent a fleet of nearly 828,000 vehicles.
The new company is on a mission to become a European leader in mobility services, and hopes to grow its fleet to one million vehicles by 2026.
