(News Bulletin 247) – Vinci publishes this evening a turnover of 15 billion euros for the first quarter, up 14% on a like-for-like basis compared to the 1st quarter of 2022.
With the exception of Vinci Immobilier (-12%), all the other divisions saw their activity progress, with in particular +15% for Concessions, +16% for Vinci Energies, +20% for Cobra IS and +14% for Vinci Construction.
Business increased in particular by 20% internationally, and by 8.5% in France, again compared to the 1st quarter of 2022 and on a like-for-like basis.
The group adds that order intake increased by 24% to reach 15.5 billion euros, bringing the order book to 60.3 billion euros, up 10%.
In this context, Vinci confirms its outlook for 2023. In detail, Vinci Autoroutes forecasts a traffic level of the same order as that of 2022.
Vinci Airports anticipates a continued recovery in its passenger traffic – without however returning to its 2019 level overall – and a further improvement in its operating results.
Vinci Energiesshould benefit from new business growth and strengthen its operating margin.
Cobra IS expects a turnover increase of at least 10%.
Vinci Construction should see its business stabilize while continuing to improve its operating margin.
