(News Bulletin 247) – Consolidated revenue fell slightly to 11.8 billion euros in the 1st quarter of 2023 (compared to 12.0 billion euros in the 1st quarter of 2022).

A total of 127 commercial aircraft have been delivered (1st quarter 2022: 142 aircraft), comprising 10 A220s, 106 A320s of the family, 6 A330s and 5 A350s.

Adjusted consolidated EBIT decreased to €773 million (Q1 2022: €1,263 million). Adjusted EBIT related to Airbus commercial aircraft business decreased to €580 million (Q1 2022: €1,065 million).

Consolidated net income came to 466 million euros compared to 1,219 million euros in the 1st quarter of 2022 with reported consolidated earnings per share of 0.59 E (Q1 2022: 1.55 E).

The forecasts published in February 2023 remain unchanged. The Company aims to achieve in 2023 approximately 720 commercial aircraft deliveries, adjusted EBIT of €6.0 billion and free cash flow before mergers and acquisitions and customer financing of €3.0 billion.
