(News Bulletin 247) – After suspending its industrial activities in Russia in March 2022, Michelin announces the signing of an agreement with Power International Tires, for the acquisition by the latter of its two local companies, Michelin Russia Tire Manufacturing Company and Camso CIS.
‘A well-known partner of Michelin, Power International is one of the main tire distributors in Russia and is present throughout the country’, specifies the French tire manufacturer.
This agreement, which follows the study of various options, aims to preserve jobs. Approved by the competent local authorities, it will save 250 jobs, mainly located in Davydovo.
