(News Bulletin 247) – Catana reported higher results for its first half of 2022/2023 last night despite persistent constraints in its supply chain, particularly with regard to engines.
The pleasure craft manufacturer generated a net profit of 9.9 million euros in the first six months of its staggered financial year, compared to 8.2 million euros in the 1st half of 2021/2022.
If he notes that his activity is now less disturbed by the problems of shortages of labor and parts, the group of Canet-en-Roussillon says to remain confronted with difficulties in terms of supply of engines.
Catana explains that its engine partner is still unable to meet the rhythm of contractual deliveries, which maintains a “strong inertia” in the cycle of its deliveries.
Despite these constraints, which according to him make it difficult to establish forecasts, the group says it is already assured of achieving a high level of growth in the 2022/2023 financial year.
Given the strength of its order book and the agreement reached with a second engine manufacturer, Catana says it expects double-digit growth in the 2024/2025 financial year.
The title moved without enthusiasm Thursday morning on the Paris Stock Exchange following this publication, posting a decline of 0.5% in the middle of the morning.
