(News Bulletin 247) – Accor has set up with Alltheway, a start-up in which it has invested, a new service to allow travelers to check in their luggage directly in the group’s hotels.
This service will initially be offered between four Parisian Accor establishments (Novotel Paris Center Tour Eiffel, Pullman Paris Montparnasse, Novotel Paris Est and Pullman Paris Center Bercy) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
It must also include four event hubs, namely the Villepinte Exhibition Center, Le Bourget, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and the Palais des Congrès.
The service, in addition to a unique security system validated by the DGAC (Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile), will allow the traveler to follow throughout their journey the routing of their suitcases in real time from the application. Alltheway.
The start-up, created in 2022, has just raised one million euros in seed funding as part of a round table led by Accor, which claims to want to support Alltheway in its ambition to develop the service at
international at the end of 2024.
