Together, the two companies are equipping cars with generative artificial intelligence (AI), making Continental one of the first automotive OEMs to embed Google Cloud capabilities directly into vehicle computers.
The two companies each bring their respective expertise to the partnership, particularly in the areas of automotive, software, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
‘Together with Google, we are bringing artificial intelligence into the vehicle cockpit and creating an intuitive experience for drivers. Based on our high-performance Smart Cockpit computer, we expect our solution to be production-ready in just 18 months of development,” said Philipp von Hirschheydt, member of Continental’s board of management and head of the automotive group’s business. of the company’s IAA MOBILITY press conference.
