PARIS (Reuters) – Atos, which will be renamed Eviden after its split, announced on Wednesday the appointment of Yves Bernaert as general manager, with immediate effect.
The new CEO’s first mission is to carry out the next stages of the transformation plan and accelerate the recovery of the group’s activities, Atos said in a press release.
Yves Bernaert, 55, will then be exclusively responsible for developing the new Eviden group if the board of directors validates the separation of Atos into two entities.
Nourdine Bihmane, who held this position, is appointed deputy general manager of Atos in charge of Tech Foundations, the group added.
Philippe Oliva, until then general manager of Eviden, “has made the decision to leave the group at the end of a transition period” while Diane Galbe, former deputy general manager of Atos, “joins the Tech Foundations teams “.
Atos has entered into exclusive negotiations to sell Tech Foundations, which brings together its historic consulting activities, to the investment fund EP Equity Investment, owned by Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky.
