(News Bulletin 247) – The Luxembourg company specializing in technical services for new technologies is pushing its pawns even further outside of France. Solutions 30 announces that it is joining forces with the German GlasfaserPlus to deploy fiber in homes in Saarland and Bavaria.

Solutions 30 is increasing its initiatives outside France to fuel its growth. The European leader in solutions for new technologies (such as the installation of fiber or Linky-type smart electricity meters) announced Monday morning that it was joining forces with the German company GlasfaserPlus for the deployment of a fiber optic network (FTTH). across the Rhine.

The partnership between Solutions 30 and the German operator initially aims to connect homes in Saarland and Bavaria. GlasfaserPlus draws on the expertise of the Solutions 30 group to “provide access to high-speed internet to 4 million households in rural areas and small and medium-sized urban areas in Germany in the years to come”.

Turnkey services

Both partners intend to provide turnkey fiber optic services, from connection to connection to homes. The contract signed with the German GlasfaserPlus is highly strategic for Solutions 30. The company specializing in technical services had already indicated to investors that the “German market has the greatest potential in Europe, with only 4 million homes fiber subscribers representing less than 10% of the total number of German households”, during its quarterly activity update published last Friday.

The former PC 30 therefore counts with this presence in Germany “ensuring the group’s next growth drivers, after the Benelux” and thus “guaranteeing strong organic growth and therefore better visibility”. By advancing its pawns in Germany, Solutions 30 hopes to repeat the same success it experienced in the Benelux where its activity grew significantly this summer thanks to the deployment of optical fiber in the territory, which allows it to benefit “fully from the strength of this market.

Towards the billion euros in billings in 2023

Between July and September, Solutions 30 achieved purely organic growth of 67% to 89.6 million euros in this area bringing together Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. “The Benelux continues to boost sales and compensates for the stability of France in the third quarter,” underlined TP ICAP Midcap in its note devoted to the Solutions 30 quarterly activity update.

In total, Solutions 30 published quarterly turnover up 18% year-on-year to 250.7 million euros, compared to 212.4 million euros for the same period of the previous year. This dynamic activity has reinforced Solutions 30 in achieving its annual objectives.

The group still intends to achieve “double-digit growth”, allowing it to exceed the “symbolic milestone” of one billion euros in turnover in 2023. This level of growth would reflect growth greater than 10% over one year.

Concerning its profitability, Solutions 30 also indicated that it was working on “optimizing its service portfolio and restoring its margins towards a two-digit EBITDA margin (gross operating result) under IFRS standard”. authorizing it to count on an Ebitda margin “which will continue to increase” in the second half.

On the Paris Stock Exchange, Solutions 30 resumes its progress interrupted on Friday (-4.8%) after some profit-taking following the very good reception (+14.3%) reserved for Thursday at its quarterly progress point. The company’s stock appreciated by 3.6%, around 11:30 a.m., and was at the top of the SBF 120 this Monday.
