PARIS (Reuters) – The main European scholarships are progressing at the start of the session on Thursday, apart from London, after many business results.

In Paris, the CAC 40 rises from 0.36% to 8,139.99 points around 8:15 a.m. GMT. The Dax in Frankfurt is reinforced by 0.1%, while the FTSE in London declines by 0.33%.

The pan -European FTSEUROFIRST 300 index lost 0.1%, the Eurostoxx 50 wins 0.3%and the Stoxx 600 grows by 0.08%.

The 2024 annual results season is in full swing with a salvo of publications Wednesday after the session or Thursday before the opening of the scholarships.

Important capitalizations draw in particular the CAC 40, like Schneider Electric which takes 5.7% after having announced to aim for a better profit margin than expected in 2025 unlike Airbus which loses 2.9% after new provisions for its space division in difficulty.

In Germany, the lower than expected increase in the production price index for January reassures inflation.

At the values, Mercedes-Benz lost 2.9% after reporting a 40.5% drop in operating profit in its automotive division, anticipating significantly lower results in 2025.
