PARIS (Reuters) – Société Générale announced on Monday the appointment of Lubomira Rochet as Deputy Director General of the Group, in charge of retail banking activities in France, Private Banking and Insurance, from April.

In addition to supporting the director general Slawomir Krupa in the supervision of retail banking activities in France, private banking and insurance, Lubomira Rochet will take on the functions of “Chief Operating Office” of the group, the bank said in a statement.

In particular, it will supervise the SG and Boursobank network, the online bank of Société Générale.

La Franco-Bulgare, which will be a member of the group’s executive committee, has passed through Sogeti (Capgemini) before becoming responsible for innovation and start-ups in France for Microsoft from 2008 to 2010 or Director of Digital and Member of the Executive Committee of L’Oréal from 2014 to 2021.

Partner at Jab Holding Company since 2021, Lubomira Rochet has been a member of the board of directors of Société Générale since 2017 and sits on the appointment and corporate government committee.

In addition, the newspaper L’Opinion reported on Sunday that the secretary general of the Elysée, Alexis Kohler, should join Société Générale to direct the retail banking activity.
