Paris (Reuters) – The main European scholarships are progressing on Monday at the opening after comments deemed reassuring of Donald Trump on American trade policy, and before the publication of PMI indicators for Mars.
In Paris, the CAC 40 rises from 0.76% to 8.104.37 points around 8:05 am GMT. The Dax in Frankfurt is strengthened by 0.82%, while the FTSE in London advances 0.43%.
The pan -European FTSEUROFIRST 300 index takes 0.56%, the Eurostoxx 50 wins 0.72%and the Stoxx 600 0.56%.
While the stock markets have been suffering for weeks from the uncertainties created by the sometimes contradictory announcements of Donald Trump on American customs duties and their implementation calendar, the President of the United States reassured investors a little on Friday by promising to be flexibility and by evoking an interview next week between Jamieson Greer, American representative at trade, and his Chinese counterpart.
The markets are also awaiting the publication of PMI indicators from 08:15 GMT, which will give first indications on the look of the European private sector on the vast investment plans in the defense announced by Germany and the European Commission.
At the values, Valneva earns 5.1% after announced Monday providing 40,000 doses of the IXCHIQ vaccine against the chikungunya epidemic in Reunion.
Bayer fell by more than 7% after being sentenced by a jury from the American State of Georgia to pay around 2.1 billion dollars (1.94 billion euros) to a complainant who accuses the Roundup, a herbicide, of having caused cancer.
