PARIS (Reuters) – The main European scholarships evolve slightly down Monday at the start of the session before a busy week.
In Paris, the CAC 40 folded up from 0.42% to 7,853.8 points around 07:15 GMT. The Dax in Frankfurt abandons 0.22%, while the FTSE in London declines 0.27%.
The pan -European FTSEUROFIRST 300 index loses 0.33%, the Eurostoxx 50 fell by 0.52%and the Stoxx 600 declines by 0.47%.
Investors are preparing for a week rich in political and geopolitical events that may have consequences on the markets.
Emmanuel Macron spoke on Sunday from the war in Ukraine with the leaders of the United States, Great Britain, Italy and Germany while Donald Trump has to exchange with Putin on the subject on Monday.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also receives the leaders of the European Union in order to discuss a new defense agreement with the block and improve post-Brexit trade links.
In France, more than 35 billion euros in investments must be announced by large foreign companies at the “Choose France” summit.
Elsewhere in the world, Moody’s lowered the credit note from the United States on Friday evening while mixed data published Monday morning in China weigh on the feeling.
At the values, Euronext lost 2.1% after changes in recommendation.
