PARIS (Reuters) – The main European scholarships are evolving with low increase or downward variations Tuesday at the opening of details on American customs duties.
In Paris, the CAC 40 folded up from 0.05% to 7,719.83 points around 07:16 GMT. The Dax in Frankfurt is strengthened by 0.25%, while the FTSE in London increased by 0.06%.
The pan -European FTSEUROFirst 300 index takes 0.1%, the Eurostoxx 50 fell 0.06%and the Stoxx 600 declines by 0.08%.
Donald Trump launched the waltz of letters at the start of the week, which is supposed to indicate to the various countries the customs duties imposed by the United States on imports.
With rates ranging from 36% to 25% for 14 letters sent, everyone is waiting to know their fate while Donald Trump pushed the entry of these customs rights on August 1 “if they do not agree by then”.
“The trade agreement with Vietnam announced this week was firmer than we had planned, which makes the risk that other countries are subject to higher customs duties,” said nomisura economists in a note.
The European Union should not receive such a letter, sources from the file, and envisages any exemptions on universal customs duties on Monday imposed by the United States on Monday.
At values, Pernod Ricard and Rémy Cointreau take more than 2%.
