(BFM Stock Exchange) – The intense season of half -yearly results will start on July 17 with Publicis and will spread until the beginning of August. News Bulletin 247 delivers a calendar so that you can follow the publications.
It is a highlight for the Paris Stock Exchange and especially the most busy period in terms of publications of the listed groups: the semi -annual results season. Companies have enough perspective to confirm or modify their perspectives. Which makes it an unmissable event.
When will CAC 40 residents make their copies? BFM Stock Exchange has concocted a small calendar (at the end of the article) with the dates of publications so that you can follow as best this season.
For calendar issues, this season is extremely concentrated and intense. Publicis will kick off on the CAC 40 from Thursday, July 17. The other 38 groups of the Parisian index – Pernod Ricard evolving on an offbeat exercise – will reveal their results either the week of July 24, or the following.
An intense July 31
Some days will be extremely busy. This will be the case of Thursday, July 31, during which no less than 14 residents of the CAC 40 will deliver their results of the first half. The market will also have to digest the publications on Wednesday evenings.
Several groups have already given some trend indications. This is the case of Renault which held its conference “pre-closed” call for Tuesday, July 1. The manufacturer had also announced, this same day, a change in the accounting of its Nissan actions in its balance sheet. This will result in a heavy impact of 9.5 billion euros on its net profit.
These “calls” are organized by a company listed before the “quiet period” (generally of a few weeks) which precedes the publication of results and during which the company refrains from communicating in the information market.
Renault had then rather reassured the market. “Management has generally sent a positive message and confirmed its 2025 objectives,” said Adrien Brasey, analyst at the independent alphavalue design office.
In any case, let’s hope for the CAC 40 groups that this season of the results is less complicated than the previous one, last spring. The different groups of the Parisian index then had trouble giving visibility to their shareholders due to the vagueness created by American customs from customs.
However, the results had proven to be encouraging: 23 out of 40 companies had seen their action progress in the wake of their publication. The average variation was narrowly registered in the green (+0.04%). Not enough to save, certainly, but nothing catastrophic.
