(Reuters) -Boeing said Tuesday that it had recorded its most important month of August in terms of deliveries since 2018, the number of deliveries from January to August 2025 already exceeding the total of 2024.

The American aircraft manufacturer said they had delivered 57 planes in August, against 48 in July. This is the highest number of deliveries for a month of August for seven years for Boeing. In August 2018, the company then delivered 64 line planes.

As of August 31, Boeing delivered 385 aircraft this year, already exceeding his total of 348 planes for the whole of 2024.

Its European competitor Airbus delivered 61 aircraft in August, bringing its annual total to 434 planes.

Last month, Boeing notably delivered 42 737 Max aircraft, including seven to the airline Low-Cost Ryanair and Six to United Airlines.

The company also delivered 14 large aircraft in August, including nine 787 Dreamliners, four 777 and one 767.

Chinese carriers also received nine planes in August, including six 737 max and two 787-9.

The American aeronautical manufacturer has notably recorded 26 gross orders, including 14 aircraft 777-9 bought by the Hong Kong company Cathay Pacific, as well as two orders for 737 max orders.

From January to August 2025, Boeing recorded 725 gross orders, compensated by 46 cancellations and conversions.

After accounting adjustments, the US company’s official order book has reached 5,994 devices.
