The first, big festival for electric bicycles in Greece, the PPC e-bike Festivalwill be the Weekend 28 – 29 May 2022in Syntagma Squarein the context of Cycling Tour of Athens organized by Municipality of Athens through the Organization of Culture, Sports & Youth (OPANDA), with large sponsor of PPC.
Participants in the big celebration of cycling, residents and visitors of the city, will have the opportunity to visit the PPC e-bike Festival and get to know the most popular means of urban transportation, entertainment and exercise.
More than 50 top models with electric assistance from companies of international prestige, including Greek, specially made track for free tests on models for every use, skill game and souvenirs, will be waiting for young and old from 10 am on Saturday until 5 on Sunday afternoon.
At the PPC e-bike Festival, in addition to solutions for sustainable transportation, those interested will also find energy solutions and ways to reduce the energy footprint of their household or business. The PPC team will be there to introduce the new PPC myEnergy platform, a new world with tips for better management of home consumption, the PPC myEnergy Coach digital energy saving consultant and of course the company’s green products and services such as GreenPass which guarantees energy from RES, MyHomeOnline, e self-metering, the new complete solution for cooling – heating myEnergyHeatpump etc.
About the Athens Cycling Tour
The Cycling Tour of Athens is a particularly important event for the city, as it highlights its historicity and the need for sustainable urban mobility and sports. Since 1987 it is the most massive sports institution in Athens for cycling, with participations reaching up to 10,000 cyclists.
This big celebration will take place in Syntagma Square on Sunday, May 29, inviting cycling friends of all ages to cross the 5km route or the 15km route.
Registrations have already started electronically from May 12, 2022 at podilatikos.opanda.gr and will remain open until Friday, May 27, 2022 at 23:59.
The start of both routes will be from Syntagma Square, at 10:00 of 15km. and at 11:15 of 5km. The finish of all routes will also take place in Syntagma Square.
