ELAS will proceed with traffic regulations on Sunday (29/5) in Athens due to the “27th Athens Cycling Tour”.
In particular, there will be a gradual cessation of traffic and a ban on stopping and parking vehicles on the following avenues, squares and streets as follows:
During the hours 07:00 to 13:00:
– Stadium and in its section from America to Vas. Sofias Avenue and its perpendiculars to the first parallel road.
– Pl. Constitution
– Filellinon along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Vas. Georgiou AD along its entire length and in its perpendiculars up to the first parallel road.
From 08:00 to 13:00:
– Vas. Amalias Avenue along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road in both (2) traffic streams.
– Syggrou Avenue in its section from Ath. Diakou Street to Vas. Amalias Avenue and its perpendiculars to the first parallel road in both (2) traffic streams.
– Vas. Olgas Avenue along its entire length.
-Ath. Deacon along its entire length.
From 09:00 to 13:00:
– Vas. Sofias Avenue, in the section between Vas. Amalia Avenue and Sakharov Street in both (2) traffic streams, as well as in its perpendiculars up to the first parallel road.
– Vas. Kon / nou Avenue, along its entire length and in the traffic flow to Kallirois, as well as in its perpendiculars to the first parallel road.
– Syggrou Avenue in the section from Frantzi Street to Ath. Diakou Street and its perpendiculars to the first parallel street in both (2) traffic streams.
– Stadium in this section from Sq. Omonia to America and its perpendiculars to the first parallel road.
– El. Venizelou (University), along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel street.
– Academy, along its entire length and perpendicular to it to the first parallel street.
– Chatzichristou, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Roberto Galli, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel street.
– Garivaldi, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Akamantos, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Nileos, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Dimofontos, in the section between Thorikion and I. Poulopoulou streets and in its perpendiculars to the first parallel street.
– I. Poulopoulou, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Kymaion, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Iraklidon, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel street.
– Persephone, in the section between Sq. Afaias and Piraeus Street and in its perpendiculars to the first parallel street.
– Piraeus in the section between P. Ralli Street and Iera Odos Street, as well as in its perpendiculars to the first parallel road in the flow of traffic towards Iera Odos.
– Piraeus in the section between P. Ralli Street and Pl. Omonia in both (2) traffic streams, as well as in its perpendiculars to the first parallel road.
– Thermopylae, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Kolokinthous, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Deligiorgi, along its entire length and perpendicular to the first parallel road.
– Menandrou, in the section between Ag. Konstantinos and Piraeus and in its perpendiculars to the first parallel road.
– Athena, in the section between Pl. Omonia and Sophocleous Street in both (2) traffic streams, as well as in its perpendiculars to the first parallel street.
– Pl. Omonia
• The prohibition of the vertical passage of vehicles from the route of the Cycling Tour and for as long as the event lasts except for the following controlled nodes:
– Vas. Sofias – Rigillis Ave.
– Vas. Konstantinos Avenue – Rigillis (Truman).
Drivers are requested, for their best service and to avoid additional traffic problems, to avoid the passage of their vehicles on the above streets and avenues at the mentioned time intervals and to follow the signs and instructions of the traffic controllers.
