As reported by Magnesianewsthe episode took place on Saturday 28 May in Volos at 19.45 and The 40-year-old is accused of simple bodily harm to another member of the family.
According to the indictment, the 40-year-old man hit his 67-year-old mother, whom he pressed her throat, twisted her hand, and threatened to kill another family member.
It all happened when the son allegedly asked his mother for money to go for coffee and the answer was no, because he did not have it.
Son and mother have repeatedly had similar episodes, while yesterday they attended the Autophorous Three-Member Criminal Court of Volos and after the proposal of the President of the Court, the two sides decided to make an effort to find them with a request for criminal mediation, which will be examined by the Volos Prosecutor’s Office.
For this purpose, the trial was postponed to next Monday, June 6.
