The Minister of Tourism, Vassilis Kikilias, stated:

“Since the beginning of the tourist season, we have said that the inspections will be continuous, in order to ensure the high level of services required by – and should have – both visitors to our country and Greek travelers. The safety and protection of bathers is obviously not a minor issue. Laws, instructions and safety protocols are for us all to abide by. And in matters of public safety and health we are not going to make discounts. Because only in this way, we protect our tourism product and, of course, the majority of companies in the sector, which respects and follows the legislation “.
