Evacuation of the Panorama area in Ano Voula is taking place at this time as the flames from the fire that broke out in Ano Glyfada earlier have already reached a residential area and the yards of houses.

Also, in Voula, on Lamias Aristidou and Distomou streets, there is a suggestion of the Fire Brigade to evacuate mainly due to the thick smoke.
The forces have been strengthened and are currently operating from the air six “canard” firefighting aircraft, four helicopters, one of which is a coordination and one army helicopter.
There are 72 firefighters on the ground with 20 vehicles and 3 groups of pedestrianswith the assistance of water authorities and volunteer firefighters.

There is a strong wind in the area which causes concern to the firefighters, despite the fact that there is no forest in the area and only dry grass and low vegetation are burned.
