“Officially de-Nazified”: Kiev’s scathing comment on death of pro-Russian general in Donetsk

Lt. Gen. Kutuzov was reportedly killed during an attack on a village near the town of Popasna in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine.

THE Ukrainian army confirmed the death of a senior officer of pro-Russian separatists on the battlefield, information broadcast by Russian state television yesterday Sunday.

THE commander of the 1st Army of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s RepublicLieutenant General Roman Kutuzov, “Officially demilitarized and demilitarized”commented the press service of the Ukrainian army last night, according to the news website Ukrainian Pravda.

THE Lieutenant General Kutuzov allegedly killed while led an attack on a village near the town of Popasna, in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine. Earlier, the Ukrainian staff reported that the enemy was forced to retreat after suffering “Big losses”.

Kyiv recently claimed that its forces had killed at least seven generals of Moscow after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began on 24 February. At least two later proved to be alive. The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed four deaths of senior officers.
