There are four normal hazard categories on the map, low, medium, high and very high, rated with numbers from 1 to 4. The category with 5, as a rule, rarely appears on the map. This category corresponds to Alarm Status.

The risk of fire is high in the Dodecanese tomorrow, Tuesday, June 7, according to the forecast map of the General Secretariat for Civil Protection.

The risk categories
The map shows four normal risk categories, low, medium, high and very high, graded respectively with numbers from 1 to 4. The category with number 5, as a rule, rarely appears on the map. This category corresponds to Alarm Status.

Risk Category 1 (Low)

The risk is low. The probability of a fire is not very high. If a fire breaks out, the conditions (fuel condition, meteorological conditions) will not favor its rapid development.

Risk Category 2 (Medium)

Danger is common for the summer season. Fires that may occur are expected to be of medium difficulty in dealing with them.

Risk Class 3 (High)

The risk is high. An increased number of fires are likely to occur, many of which will be difficult to deal with when local conditions are favorable (soil morphology, local winds, etc.).

Risk Class 4 (Very High)

The risk is particularly high. The number of fires that are expected to occur is likely to be large but, most importantly, any fire can take on large proportions once it escapes the initial attack.

Risk Category 5 (Alarm Status)

The danger is extreme. The number of fires that are expected to occur is probably very large. Any fires that may occur can quickly escalate and develop extreme behavior immediately after onset. The difficulty of control is expected to be very great until the conditions under which the fires develop change.
