As part of targeted actions and traffic controls of the Attica Traffic Directorate, to detect delinquent behavior of professional drivers, a taxi driver was arrested on Monday in the area of ​​Monastiraki, accused of forgery, professional fraud and dangerous driving.
The driver was initially found to be refusing to rent his vehicle to two different customers, as their destination was not to his liking.
Then, while he was stopped by a police unit, in order to undergo a traffic control, he ignored it and, moving, violated a double dividing lane, entered the opposite traffic flow and after making continuous dangerous maneuvers, he was finally stopped by the wheel.
A thorough inspection that followed revealed that he had a fake special TAXI driving license, since the original one had expired and had not been renewed, as he was a recidivist of disciplinary violations.
