The victim claims that her father was at the hotel at the time of the attack and that she is convinced that the police have let her real rapist “go free”.
London, Thanasis Gavos
The 33-year-old British woman who was raped while on vacation in Crete states on the Daily Mail website that her rapist is not her fatheras claimed by the local police.
According to the indictment by the police, the 62-year-old made obscene gestures to his daughter in a bar last week, he hit her in the face and then raped her on a deserted beach.
The victim, however, tells the British newspaper that her father was back at the hotel at the time of the attack and that she is convinced that the police have let her real rapist “go free”.
He says that the data from CCTV and DNA will acquit her father.
“I can tell you 100% that he did not rape me. I live with my father in the United Kingdom, I was with him on vacation in Greece and he is the best dad in the world. There is no way he did something so disgusting. I have told the Greek police this, but they just ignore me. It’s an incredibly stressful, traumatic situation, but there is hope for us. “The judge told us that if Dad’s DNA released him, then he could go free.”states the 33-year-old.
The British tourist reported her to the police last Thursday she admitted that she was drunk. The police say that because of the drunkenness she can not remember anything about the man who raped her, except that he was dressed in all white. Consider the data collected by cameras substantiate the accusation against her fatherwho was actually wearing white.
The 62-year-old denied the accusations during his first appearance before the authorities in Heraklion yesterday.
