“I do not want their criminal prosecution,” said a father at the Three-Member Criminal Court of Heraklion, presenting himself as a victim of domestic violence by his two daughters. The two girls, for their part, described the situation at the family home as unbearable, due to family problems.
A hectic daily life, in a house of 40 square meters, where the family of 5 lives, “unfolded” in the Autophorous Three-Member Criminal Court of Heraklion, on the occasion of the trial of the serious family incident that – as Cretalive wrote – unfolded starring a 54 Albanian and his two daughters, aged 20 and 18.
The father was sentenced by the Court to 23 months imprisonment, with suspension, while he appealed against the first instance decision.
In his apology, he described in black the situation at home, due to the great financial problems they face. As it was pointed out, in the last 7 months, on the occasion of a car accident that he had during his work as a distributor and which caused him health problems, the only income of the family is the amount he receives from the Unemployment Fund.
It should be noted that the family has another little girl, aged 6 years, while the mother, as she testified crying, is not able to work due to serious psychological issues she is facing and for which she is receiving heavy medication.
The 54-year-old characteristically stated that “loves his children, but from the time they entered adolescence onwards can not manage the situation“especially in relation to their ‘financial requirements’.
He talked about constant conflicts at home, admitting that he is probably psychologically affected by both his unemployment and health problems.
He even said that before Sunday’s incident happened, he had thought of visiting the Prosecutor, in order to consider the possibility of the two older girls being removed from the house! As he characteristically stated and had testified before the investigation, he wants a “divorce” with his daughters!

“We understand, they said, that we are not like before and we try to have the least possible expensesa”.
As they stated, their wish was not to reach the case “at the ends, but to take a lesson and not repeat a similar situation at home“.
