The charge against them is the breach of duty committed continuously and by omission.
Rapid developments in the case with the nursing home – hell in Chania.
According exclusive report by SKAI the circle of defendants is expanding. More specifically, the former and current deputy governor of Chania, Apostolos Voulgarakis and Nikos Kalogeris, are now among the accused in the case. The charge against them is the breach of duty committed continuously and by omission.
The prosecutors accuse these two persons that while they were aware of the conditions prevailing in the specific nursing home, not only did they issue the operating licenses, but especially the current governor upgraded the nursing home from 16 beds to 46, while he was aware of the complaints that existed for that company.
Their trial is set for September 2 this year.
It is recalled that there are 12 employees of the Health Directorate of the Chania Counter-Region who are involved in very serious criminal charges even for the abduction of elderly people in this stinking case.
“I saw people die and they called me clogged”
Revelations that shudder and cause disgust made while speaking on the show SK with his former employee SKAI nursing home-slaughterhouse at Chania.
She explained that she worked for 9 months in the nursing home but when she asked about what was happening inside the structure, she did not get answers: “Whatever I asked them, they did not give us explanations. I spoke to the management and they told me you are very sensitive “Stop, we will be fired, I was the black sheep,” he said.
“We used to give people sedatives like candy and ask what they were. Everyone died the same way. For three days they knew they were going to die of fever and they even laughed, left the room and left them alone in the room. As soon as their souls left I was sitting in the room to hold them in my hand. I sang to them oh my sweet ear to calm them down “said Kiki Stefanidou characteristically about the tragic moments that the elderly experienced.
“This structure was a showcase that covered their lies, a well-thought-out cabinet,” he said, adding that those in charge went so far as to select the staff: “They put so much work into us, we were 3 nurses for 60 inmates. They sorted out the employees, they wanted you to be unskilled in order to manipulate you “
“Everything was done for the money.” He stated characteristically and continued that they did not give them the medicines so that their children could call and say why you did not come to pay. Many times to inmates who had disputes with their relatives, they were beaten and quarreled to get money and come to pay at the nursing home
