Students from Crete describe their effort, but also share their joy for their success
Anxiety; Yes! Reading; Very! Schedule: above all! The excellent students of the national exams from schools in Heraklion share the “secret” of their success.
The difficult times are over, they will enjoy their summer and their anxiety is now focused on the announcement of the bases, the first ten days of August.
A very talented musician is Petros Rafael Stefanakis, from the Lyceum of N. Alikarnassos, who excelled in the exams and wants to dedicate himself to his great love, music. His goal is the Department of Music Studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He plays classical guitar, bass, bouzouki, piano, among others, of course, and wants to be involved in composition
In addition to the… stave, he also liked to study his lessons, he managed to combine reading and going out, in the evenings either alone or with friends he chose to take walks so that he could break out. But when he read, he threw, as he says, his cell phone to the other side of the room to concentrate.
A bow for military schools or schools of the security forces puts the Limbi Simakai, from the Lyceum of N. Alikarnassos. He is originally from Albania, was born and raised in Crete. From a young age he liked discipline, that’s why he chooses this field.
He read a lot, but he was not deprived of what he likes, he managed to combine his obligations with his fun.
Manolis Tzagarakis, from the 2nd Lyceum of Heraklion, wants to study Electrical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, or at the Technical University of Crete in Chania. Otherwise, he is considering the choice of Computer Science at the University of Crete, in Heraklion.
He likes the courses in the specific Departments, from amateur pursuits he found that he likes programming, he wants to deal with this field, which he considers interesting.
The squatting and the absences of the teachers, due to a pandemic, were a problem for its preparation, but, with reading and patience, it succeeded!
Flag bearer at Vespers
Irini Thergiaki was a flag bearer at the 4th Evening EPAL of Heraklion. Initially, he aimed for a good degree. School was for her a way to make creative use of her free time but now she wants to have a “paper” in the job market. She is a hairdresser and sees that the industry is facing problems.
He wants to study at the Department of Business Administration and Tourism at ELMEPA in Heraklion.
As he says, he got the best impressions from the school, the teachers love what they do and it shows in the result of the exams.
